The Kyrgyz Republic

The World Bank “First Land and Real Estate Registration Project” helped to develop land administration services and data essential for a functioning land and real estate market in the Kyrgyz Republic. It was acknowledged by the management of the World Bank as one of the most successful in the world and received an award in April 2008. The Sida financed project to support land reform carried out by Swedesurvey at GosRegister, in parallel with this, was a major contributing factor.
