Swedesurvey has hosted study visits for over 100 Mongolians and over 50 Swedesurvey consultants have undertaken one or more assignments in capacity building programmes to strengthen the land administration sector in Mongolia. Projects undertaken on behalf of the Administration of Land Affairs, Geodesy and Cartography and the Municipality of Ulaanbaatar have included land management, cadastre, legislative framework, real property registration, geodesy and cartography, NSDI, institutional development and the establishment of a modern training centre. In addition, Swedesurvey experts lectured at summer courses held at Mongolian universities and cooperated in a programme of distance learning for Mongolians held by the University of Gävle.
