Swedesurvey conducted a project at the Ministerio de Hacienda y Crédito Público Proyecto de la Propiedad in Nicaragua. As well as a project manager, stationed in Managua throughout the project period, and a technical manager, Swedesurvey provided an expert in cadastral systems, a land registry expert, a methodologist and system developers. After an initial analysis had been carried out, an integrated cadastre and register information system was designed, developed and deployed to support and automate the national public cadastre and registry services. Internet map services providing public access were also developed and implemented.
