Human Resource Development

The demand for Human Resource Development in the fields of land governance and NSDI, which includes surveying and mapping, is huge.

Land governance has deep roots in Sweden. Sweden was one of the first countries in the world to establish a computerised nationwide legal land data bank system which integrated cadastral and land registration procedures.

Over the past thirty years Swedesurvey has been active in almost 70 countries and Human Resource Development is the most important service that Swedesurvey provides. Training at all levels and for a variety of professional skills is of fundamental importance to support capacity building in land governance and NSDI.
